As a job seeker, first you need to SIGN UP. Once you Sign Up, you can search industry/company/job that you want to know about. XpRelay will give you a list of matched advisors who work/worked in that searched industry/company/job. From the search results, you can see what advising services the advisor provides, their price range and what channels(messaging, voice call, physical meeting) they support. The price listed on the profile are for reference only, the exact session fee will be co-determined by you and the advisor after discussion. You can check the full profile of the advisor by clicking a search result. On the full profile, you can also see the comments of other job seekers for this advisor.
Book a Session
When you identify a suitable advisor, you can click "Book Session" on the advisor profile. A booking form will come up. You need to tell advisor what advising service you need, what exactly you want to know and your preferred advising channel with time preference. You can leave a message to the advisor to kick off the discussion with him/her. Once the booking request is submitted, you can start to use XpRelay Instant Messages to communicate with the advisor. You can modify your request anytime by clicking the session on the In Progress Session.
Advisor Accept or Reject your booking Request
Advisor will review your booking request and communicate with you using XpRelay Instant Messages. Advisor will discuss with you on the content, time and the fee of the advising session. After discussion, advisor may accept and finalise your request by setting the channel, time and fee of the advising session. However, advisor may also choose to reject your booking request if he/she cannot help you.
Confirm and Pay
You will be notified by XpRelay Notification and email when your advisor accept and finalise your session request. Your advisor set the channel, time, and fee of the advising session base on the discussion with you. If you confirm the finalised details, you can click "Confirm and Pay". XpRelay supports payment by Paypal account, Credit Card (using Paypal gateway) and Alipay. After payment, the advising fee will be on hold with XpRelay. The fee will not be transferred to the advisor until 24 hours after the session is completed.
The Actual Advising Session
Depending on the finalised channel, XpRelay advising session can be conducted in different form. For XpRelay Messages, you can start getting advice from advisor right away using our XpRelay Instant Messaging tool.
If the finalised channel is XpRelay Voice Call, you will see a set of conference id and passcode on that session page. Follow the direction on the session page to dial in at the finalised time. For physical meeting, you should be punctual to meet with the advisor at the finalised time.
After the Session
After the session is completed (time passed the finalised date and time), you should rate and comment the advisor on the session page. The comment and rating will be on the public advisor profile of the advisor and you can update the rating and comment anytime. You can request for refund within 24 hours after the session is completed. XpRelay will investigate and decide whether to accept the refund request. If no refund request is raised, XpRelay will transfer your session fee to the advisor.
